For this project, we had to come up with a brand and its logo. I created stream: a music-sharing platform where you can listen to anything with friends and control how you listen simultaneously.

I used the following programs for this logo design: Procreate, Figma, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Indesign, & Adobe XD

Initial Sketches

These are the initial sketches as well as the fonts I was choosing between. Since stream is a music sharing app, I wanted to incorporate a sound wave, a community feel, and a literal stream into the logo design. As for the fonts, I wanted to find a memorable, unique font that would feel approachable and fun.

Initial Logo Sketches

These are sketches I made on Procreate. I tried to come up with various logo styles such as single letter, abstract, pictorial, etc.

Final Design - Colors & Fonts

After much deliberation, I chose this design. I thought that this best combined a modern sound wave with a literal stream that still looks like a sound wave. It also represents how two sounds can be in sync with each other. I chose these water-themed colors and bold fonts.
